Quincy Blakely graduated from the University of Vermont, class of 1854. He
studied divinity at Union Theological Seminary, New York City, class of 1857.
He was ordained at Rodman, NY where he was Associate Pastor with Rev. David
Spear 1857-1863. He then went to the Congregational Church at Campton, NH in
1864 and stayed there until 1887.He was then in Dorset for a few years. He had
only been in Wakefield one year when he died from heart failure.(From Diana
