George Carroll Adams, Jr., age 65 of Montross, Va., passed away Friday, October 29, 2004. Mr. Adams was a retired Carpenter for Levi Stouffer.
Surviving by his wife, Hilda Adams, one son Douglas Wayne Adams of Montross, one granddaughter Amanda Kilmon of Montross; three brothers, Bobby Adams of Waldorf, Md., Sam Adams of Newburg, Md., and Horace Adams of LaPlata, Md.; and three sisters, Shirley Pickeral of Nanjemoy, Md., Betty Welch of Waldorf, Md., and Susie Henson of Georgia.
A funeral service was held October 31, at the Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel, with Rev. James Salmon officiating. Burial followed in Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chiltons.
