Irma Bergstedt, 94, of Zion, died on Saturday, December 18, 2004 at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion. Irma was born January 12, 1910 in Sweden, immigrating to Chicago in 1915 and settling in Zion in 1917. She was employed by Waukegan Dry Goods in the 1930's and was a longtime employee of Stiles Accounting as a Bookkeeper. She is survived by several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Axel Bergstedt in 1961 her mother, Alma Bergstedt in 1953 five sisters and an infant brother. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 22, 2004 from 5 to 8 PM at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 23rd, at 11 AM at the Congdon Funeral Home with Rev. Angela Buchanan officiating. Interment will be private at North Shore Garden of Memories, North Chicago. Memorial donations may be sent to Save-A-Pet, Inc., 31664 North Fairfield Road, Grayslake, IL, 60030.
