Born Aughts 2, 1906, Mr. Ramsey had lived in the area all his life. He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of the Leawood Curch of Christ.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mildred Ramsey; a daughter, Mrs. Frankie Kidd, Sacramento, Calif; a son, Richard Ramsey, a U.S. Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Janie Messer, Joplin, Mrs. Flossie Peiffer, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Leona Eads, Oroville, Calif.; two brothers, Jim Ramsey, Rocky Comfort, and Herbert Ramsey, Texas, and a granddaughter.
Arrangements will be announced by Parker mortuary of Joplin.
