Albert Higgenbotham, 73, of Edna, died Tuesday morning at the Vincent Pallotti Hospital.
He was born May 5, 1885 at Hundred, and was a member of Local UMWA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Higgenbotham.
Survivors include three sons, Sherman of Core, Walter of Core Route 1, and Charles of Rivesville; two daughters, Mrs. Mary DeVor of Edna and Mrs. Juanita Cutwright of Route 1, Core; one brother, Haymond Higgenbotham of Monongah; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Hartzell of Monongah and Mrs. Lizzie Shingleton of Fairmont; and 12 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Cutwright residence at Hagans after Wednesday noon and until 9 a.m. Thursday at which time the body will be removed to the Fred L. Jenkins Memorial Chapel where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Rowland Aspinall officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
