Mrs. Catherine McCoy Abbott, wife of Joseph P. Abbott, died suddenly Friday evening, Feb 24, 1956 at her home, 147 West Vine, Tooele, of a heart attack.
She was born October 27, 1898, in Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire, England. She came to the United States in 1907 with her parents, the late Patrick and Annie McCoy of Tooele. She married Joseph P. Abbott on June 30, 1918 at St. Marguerite's Catholic Church, in Tooele.
Holy Rosary was recited at the Tate Mortuary, Monday evening, at 8 p.m. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the St. Marguerite's Catholic Church.
Burial was in the Tooele City cemetery.
