Mrs. Lettie Tyra Hanson Ableman was born at Crandon, Wis., April 9, 1898 and passed away at her home in Woodford, July 16th, 1925, at the age of 27 years, 3 months and 7 days. At an early age she was taken into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hanson where she grew to womanhood. On the 22nd of October 1911 she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the Jordan Lutheran church. On the 28th of March 1918 she was united in marriage to Jesse Ableman, of Woodford, and they made their home in that vicinity until her death. To them two children were born, Ruth and Gene.
Lettie had been ailing for a long time, with that dreaded disease which comes quietly, unannounced and weakened the body until she peacefully slipped away, borne on the arms of love to rest.
She leaves to mourn her death, her husband and two children, two sisters and two brothers, mrs. Lily Stetler, Woodford, Mrs. Leon Teffalilt, Marshfield, Timothy Tyra of Cincinnati, Robert Tyra of Cattlesburg, Kentucky.
The funeral services were conducted at the late home and interment in the Miller cemetery near Wiota.
