They were married 44 years at the time of Lawrence's death. Buried in the same grave as her husband. (Tier burial).
(My sweet, precious, Mother. There will never be another like her!)
She kept the home fires burning many, many nights while our Dad was away during war times. She was one terrific lady; a great cook, good sport, a dog-gone good disciplinary, we knew she meant business. Above all she was a warm and loving mother who raised four good kids, sometimes on her own.
She is survived by her children; a daughter, Mary L. (Walker) Butler, of Anniston, AL; three sons, Eddie E. "Gene" Walker, and Larry L. Walker, both of Montgomery; Kenneth D. Walker, of Panama City, FL.; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grand-children.
She is missed more than anyone could imagine!
