She died of cancer July 14, 1969 at the Parkview Hospital in Riverside, California. She was originally buried at Greenwood Hill Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. After her husband William Ray Budd passed away August 30, 1992 her body was exhumed, cremated and her ashes were buried with William at the Riverside National Cemetery that same year. She was 43 years old when she passed away.
