MRS. HELEN V. DOWNS, wife of C. Norris Downs, 25 East Potomac Street, Williamsport, died Friday at 10:30 p.m. at the Washington County Hospital, after a long illness, aged 54.
She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Churches at Martinsburg and Williamsport, and a member of the Women's Missionary Society.
Surviving besides her husband are a half-brother, Chris Stocker; step-mother, Mrs. Chris Stocker, Sr., and two nephews and a niece.
Funeral services at the home on Monday at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. William Huddle officiating.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery.
The remains will be removed to the home Sunday, when friends may call until the time of the funeral.
