She was the youngest of eight children. Married Joseph A. Wood at 15 yrs and wore a size 3 shoe.

HEARTBEATS OF NELSON by Paul Saunders on p.175 - There is a little house located by the Piney River Baptist Church in Woodson. Joe and Dittie Wood owned the land but gave land to the church to build on. Henry and Dolly Wood and family lived there awhile. (My Dad, James Wyatt Wood, was born there.)
