Mrs. Amelia Erickson

Mrs. Amelia Erickson, 83. of Valders, died at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. on Tuesday,from a stroke she suffered Monday. Nee Amelia Jackson, she was born in Manitowoc,April 18, 1873, and was married to Anton Erickson Jan. 19, 1896. A lifelong resident of M a n i t o w o c County she was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 23, 1911. She was a charter member of the Ladies Aid Society of the Valders Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors are two sons, Lloyd Erickson of Valders and Charles of Manitowoc, a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Antoinette) Wildgrube of Valders, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four half-brothers, Henry Anderson of North Dakota and Elmer Reinlardt and Inez Anderson of Minnesota
and a half sister, Mrs. Anna Jeppson, also of Minnesota. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Valders Evangelical L u t h e r a n Church, the Rev. A. B. Holland, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call at the Berge Funeral Home, Valders, from 2 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday when the body will be taken to the church.
