Butler -- Harvey J. Chapman, Sr., 82 Adrain, Mo., died Monday in a hospital here.
Mr Chapman was a retired farmer and a former district manager for Johnson Wax Company. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was a member of Crescent Hill Masonic Lodge.
Mr Chapman leaves a son Harvey Jr, San Antonio, Tex.; a daughter Mrs. Mila Lawrence, 910 Choctaw, Independence; four brothers Roy F Chapman, Butler; Dr. Carl Chapman, Nevada, Mo.; Henry Chapman, Adrian, and Walter Chapman; three sisters Mrs. Alta Smith, Marshall, Tex., Mrs. Pearl Gehl and Mrs. Opal Ragan, both of El Paso, Tex; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Atkinson-Dickey Chapel; burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery, both in Adrian.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight.
