CHARLES CERULL
Charles Cerull, 74, died late Saturday afternoon at the home 511 S. 11th St. after a lingering illness.
Born Feb 19, 1878, in New York City, he moved to Manitowoc in his boyhood and attended the public schools there. On May 1, 1902 he was married to Miss Frieda Zill.
Mr Cerull operated a cheese factory in Manitowoc county until October 1923, when the family moved to Sheboygan, Prior to his retirement he was employed as a baker at the White House Bakery for many years
He was a member of Zion Reformed Church.
Survivors are the widow; five sons Ervin and Harold, Milwaukee, Lester, Kohler, Reuben, Sheboygan, and Carl Oconomowoc; two daughters Mrs Arthur (Verna) Schmolinski, Oconto, Wis; Mrs Mike (Viola) Kotte, Sheboygan; one brother Emil, Manitowoc, three sisters, Mrs Elizabeth Herman and Mrs Ella Owen, Manitowoc and Mrs Jack Gates, Two Rivers; none grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
An infant son, his parents three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels with the Rev Clarence H Koehler, pastor of Zion Reformed Church, officiating, Interment will be in the family lot in the Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the funeral chapel after 6 o'clock this evening.
