MASON CITY -- Blanche Marguerite Berberet, 80, of Mason City, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, at 1:15 a.m. at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mason City Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Paddack officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Hurley Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Berberet was a homemaker.

She was born Feb. 25, 1924, in St. Charles, Mo., to Frank and Lena Rabbe Norton. She married Richard Froebol Berberet on Sept. 3, 1948. He survives.

Other survivors are one son, Tom Berberet of Havana; one stepson, Jim (and Barb) Berberet of Canton, Mich.; one stepdaughter, Jean Krider of Westerfield, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, William (and Linda) Norton of Mason City and Raymond (and Marg) Dye of Mason City; and one sister, Helen (and Kenneth) Pryor of Mason City.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Mason City.
