Mr Naylor, born in Upperco, Baltimore Co., Maryland and raised part of his life in White Hall, moving to Baltimore City in 1937. He lived in the Medfield neighborhood in Hampden until about 2001 when he moved to Salisbury, on the eastern shore of Maryland.

OCCUPATION:
He worked for the Greenspring Dairy, located in Hampden.
Starting in 1942 he began working with the then Baltimore Transit Company.
His lengthy career saw him as "streetcar motorman"; later operator for trackless trolleys,buses and mobility vans.
He demonstrated dedication to his job and his "riders".
Within his final five years of employment he drove the Maryland Transportation Authority (MTA) "mobility bus" transporting special-needs riders.
He retired in 1982 and was proud to have worn the badge with the number 1 which was in special recognition of his most senior status with the MTA.

During World War II he volunteered as a driver to transport soldiers to deployment locations.

Both he and his wife were members of the Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Mt. Washington, and St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in Hampden.
