SSGT US Army World War II- 43rd Infantry Division 
served in the following campaigns, Guadalcanal, Northern Solomons, New Guinea and Luzon and received the following decorations, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with a Bronze Star, the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon with Bronze Star.

loving husband of 65 years to Irene (Faniola) Vanderbilt

Harry was born in East Hartford and graduated from East Hartford High School and the Morse School of Business. 

 He owned and operated for many years until his retirement, Airfield Service, Bradley Air Freight and Airport Taxi in Windsor Locks. Harry was a member of the American Legion Gensi-Viola Post 36, the V.F.W. Smalley Brothers Post 6123 both of Windsor Locks, the Suffield Sportsman Club and the Stafford Game Club.
