Lois Veo, 84, of Montrose, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at Heidi’s Chateau in Montrose
memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Christ Church of the Valley in Montrose.

A private family inurnment will take place at Grand View Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose.

Aunt Lois spent her entire life in the Montrose, Colorado area. She did have have another spouse, and is "NOT" buried in Oklahoma.

November 28, 1948: LOIS M. CARNAL WEDS RICHARD F. VEO THANKSGIVING DAY-Lois M. Carnal and Richard F. Veo, before a large picture window overlooking the valley and the mountains surrounding the town of Cimarron and the Black Canyon, were united in marriage Thanksgiving morning, with Dr. Mark T. Warner performing the double ring ceremony. Before coming to Montrose, the bride lived and attended the schools of Ridgway, Silverton and Delta. The groom has lived in the Cimarron Community all of his life and attended the Cimarron grade School and the Montrose County High School He left high school before graduationand entered military service with the U. S. Navy serving in the Pacific Theatre of war for two years, and participated in the Bikini Atom Bomb tests on the Marshall Islands. Late in the afternoon the bride and groom left on a honeymoon to the Carlsbad Caverns, and upon their return will be located in their home of the Veo Ranch where the groom will continue general ranching with his father.(Colorado Newspaper) June 25, 1956: STORK CLUB-Mr. and Mrs. Dick Veo of Cimarron are parents of a baby daughter, weight six pounds, six and one half ounces, born Monday (June 25) in Memorial Hospital.(Colorado Newspaper)
