OBITUARY :
HOWARD LOUIS HAHN, 73, died Sunday at 9:20 a.m. at the home of his nephew, Clair Thompson of Ringgold. He had been in failing health for the past year and in July suffered a stroke.

He had been a semi-invalid since then. Sunday morning he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage which resulted in his death.

He was born in Waynesboro, a son of the late David and Mary Whitmore Hahn. Most of his life was lived in Waynesboro and he was employed by his father who operated a drayage business.

He was later employed by Walter Ambrose and was last employed by Walter McLaughlin as kitchen help in a restaurant. For twelve years he had resided on a farm at Boonsboro and since September he resided with his nephew.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Motter Thompson, and a brother, Grover C. (Peck) Hahn, both of Waynesboro.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. from the Grove Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Joseph Porterfield. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
