Barbara Jo Everett Seres (Aunt B) 66, of Terrell, passed away January 13, 2013 at her home with her family by her bedside. She was born October 26, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Joseph H. (Jody) and Annie Estell (Dyer) Everett. She graduated from Mesquite High School in 1965. Barbara was employed by Lone Star gas for 35 years and TXU for 4 years before retiring in 2004. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jason Seres. Barbara is survived by her husband of 34 years, Zoltan Seres of Terrell; daughter, Kayla Seres of Grand Prairie; brother, Frank Everett and wife, Rene of Mesquite; brother, Marty Everett and wife, Laura of Mesquite; nephews and nieces, Glen Everett and wife, Tami of Burleson, D.J. Council and wife, Andrea of Houston, Tammy Clinton and husband, Jim of Mesquite, Stacy Everett of McKinney, Crystal Wells of Mesquite, Angie Council of Mesquite; 8 great-nieces and nephews; and best friend, Beverly Johnson and husband, Jerry of Victoria, TX. Visitation for Barbara will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home in Mesquite, Texas. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donnie Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers for the service will be Frank Everett, Sr., Marty Everett, Jim Clinton, Bubba Clinton, D.J. Council, and Wayne Grayson. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Johnson and Austin Witt. The family would like to thank the staff at Compassus Hospice for the great care given during her time of illness
