MAY – Services for Mrs. Effie V. Driskill, 90, a native of May, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the May Methodist Church with minister Ollie Cantwell officiating.

Burial will be in May Cemetery under the direction Higginbotham Funeral Home at Rising Star.

Born Sept. 5, 1880 at May, she married Francis Wright Driskill. He died Nov. 18, 1943.

Survivors include three sons, Raymond Driskill and Billy Driskill, both of May, and Jessie Driskill of Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Burns of Brownwood, Mrs. Altus Buford of Abilene and Mrs. E. C. Nieman of San Antonio; two brothers, James Gray and George Gray, both of Brownwood; 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
