Rites Thursday

Funeral services for Robert Guy Barfield of Erick will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Baptist Church in Sweetwater. Burial will be in the Berlin Cemetery. Mr. Barffield, 70, died Monday in an Oklahoma City hospital. Survivors are his wife of the home; two daughters, Roberta Smith of Erick and Wanda Frear of Hobbs, N.M.; 1 son, Harry Barfield of Modesto, Calif.; 5 sisters, Mable Jencks and Ruby Beutelschies of Elk City, Gladys Giddens(sic) of Perry, Ark., Ruth McQuerry of Vidor, Tex., and Algra Tackett of Bokoshe, and 3 brothers, Charles Barfield of Elk City, Ford Barfield of Fort Smith, Ark., and Cecil Barfield of Oklahoma City.
