Willo Dean along with her late husband, Bill, owned Wild Bill's Auto Parts in Merrillville. Willo Dean was a member of the Woodmar United Methodist Church in Hammond, the Izaak Walton League in Hobart and was an avid bridge player.
Preceded in death by her husband William Janowsky; parents: James and Ella Dowdy; brothers: Walker, Thetus and James and sisters: Carmel Gurley, Louise Mays and Doris Dickey.
Willo Dean is survived by two sons: Timothy (Peggy) Janowsky and Steven Janowsky both of Merrillville; grandchildren: William and Jaime Janowsky; great grandson, Noah Janowsky; brother, Warren Dowdy of Deltona, FL; sister, LaVerne Drake of Laporte.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville with the Rev. Robert Raschka officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart.
Friends may visit with the family Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. at Geisen Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Anthony Nursing Home Alzheimer's Unit, 203 Franciscan Drive, Crown Point, IN 46307.
