was disintered her and husband Thomas around 1925 from Lone Mountain Cemetery, head stone used for sidewalks and retaing walls, by city. these were wealthy people Thomas had holdings in the silver mines and railroads.She and her husband lived in a mansion called the House of Mystery on the corner of Octavia and Bush Streets, with Mary Ellen "Mammy" Pleasant , who is said to have designed the home. She is listed below in the 1880 as the house keeper, servant of the family.

According to the 1900 census records the home was located at 1661 Octavia in San Francisco. It also states Terese was born in New York which differs from the following 1880 census transcription where they are living at 1661 Octavia:

"Teresa Bell, widow of Millionaire Thomas Bell, has filed a petition in the Probate Court asking for an allowance of $5000 per month for her own support and that of her children Thomas Frederick Bell, Marie Teresa Bell, Roblna May Hell, Muriel Bell, Reginald Bell and Eustace Bell, to take effect from October 16, 1892. The petitioner states the amount asked Is reasonable, and that the estate Is amply able to allow it."

There is a book called Mammy Pleasant by Helen Holdredge that is said to be written from Terese (Theresa) Bell's diary.
