GLOUSTER--Mrs. Cynthia Jane Bryan, 87, of Millfield Route 1, died Tuesday in the Athens Mental Health Center.
Born in Vinton County, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Chapman. Her husband, Jesse, died in 1953.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Garnet Walter, Lancaster, a son, Edward G. Bryan, Dayton; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lena Hipster, Millfield Route 1. A daughter, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Services will be Friday, 1 p.m. in the Van Fossen Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Walburn officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
