Hannah (Ann) Weyant of Harpursville, N.Y.

Hannah Elizabeth (Getter) (Trelease) Weyant, age 86, went to be with her Lord on August 16, 2006. Born in Coventry, N.Y., October 2, 1919. She was predeceased by one daughter, Wanda June; two brothers, Merton Craig Getter and Lewis George Getter; by her parents, Lewis Merton and Olive Hannah (Weeks) Getter; one sister, Ruth V. Saxby; also by her husband, Albert Curtis Weyant. She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Blackwood, East Amherst, N.Y.; three sons, Charles and wife, Pat Trelease, Wirtz, Virginia, Lewis and Carol Trelease, Windsor, N.Y., and Fred Trelease, Port Dickinson; one granddaughter, Kerry Grohman, Snyder, N.Y.; two grandsons, Joshua Trelease, Wirtz, Virginia, and Justin Blackwood, East Amherst, N.Y.; three great-grandchildren, Grey and Mia Grohman and Grace Elizabeth Trelease; two sisters, Robie Cower, Miami, and Beatrice and husband, Myron Tanner, Port Crane; one stepson, Chief Warrant Officer Albert C. Weyant Jr. and his wife, Yolanda, San Diego, California: two stepdaughters, Althea and Lori Ann, Kentucky; five step grandchildren, Curtis and Valerie Weyant, Josh Wright, Mandy Weyant and Mary Hurst; two brothers-in-law, David Weyant and Edward and Janice Weyant; four sisters-in-law, Betty and Art Hamilton, Violet and Ray Hitchcock, Janice Tyler and Nellie Weyant; also several foster children, nieces and nephews. She left behind some very dear friends, Bonnie and Dave, John and Marie, Ruth, Mary, and Heilda. She was the former owner of Buck's Luncheonette, Windsor, N.Y.; waitress for many years in Binghamton, Endicott and New York City; den mother for Pack 68, Windsor, N.Y.; Sunday School superintendent at the East Windsor United Methodist Church; member of the Windsor Free Methodist Church; Mary Kay consultant; certified health aide for Family and Children; Member and former trustee of the Eagles Club, Binghamton N.Y.; vendor at Jimay's and Bob&Sally's Flea Markets; belonged to several senior citizens clubs; honorary member of the Sheriffs Department; Ordained Minister of the American Fellowship Church, Washington and member of the Belden Bethel Chapel, Harpursville N.Y.
The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 88 Chapel Street, Windsor, Sunday, August 20, from 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, August 21. The Rev. Bill Fowler of the Belden Bethel Chapel will officiate. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Windsor.
