Mrs. Nancy Barrett pased away at
her home near Coyle, Oklahoma on
January 31, 1905. She was 80 years
of age.

Nancy Beall was born on a farm
which is now a part of the townsite
of Wheeling, West Virginia on
October 17, 1824. She lived there
until she was 18 years of age.

She married to Uriah Barrett on
September 19, 1850 at Athens
Ohio. She was the mother of seven
children, five sons and two daughtes
all of whom suvive her, Mrs. Ruth
Tillotson, Hillery, Fremont, Seth,
Parker, David and Jennie.

They moved to Iowa in 1856 and
to Kansas in 1867. They lived on
a farm near Frankfort, Kansas for
35 years. Mrs. Barrett with her
remaining children move to
Oklahoma in 1902.

She has been a member of the
Methodist Church since she was
17 years of age. It may also be
remembered that her brothers,
John and Frank Beall, millwrights,
were the builders of Newell's
Mill.

Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery
Frankfort, Kansas on February 3.
