James William Beard, 60, died Dec. 19 at St. Thomas Hospital. A native of Williamson County. Mr. Beard was a 1950 graduate of Bethesda High School. He is the son of Thomas Lee Beard of Franklin and the late Mary Elizabeth Hinson Beard. Other survivors include his wife, Juanita Mae Hester Beard: two daughters. Connie Sue Beard and Judy Ann Hulme. One son-in-law, Julian Hulme, all of Nashville: two sisters,Christine Black and Mrs. Tom (Ann) Randolph of Franklin. His step mother, Mrs. Ethel Beard of Franklin. Funeral services were Dec. 21 at Pettus-Owen and Wood Funeral Home in Nashville with Milton Lillard officiating. Burial was in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
