C.B. ERWIN BURIED IN ELIDA
Mrs. C.B. (Eloise) Erwin of San Diego arrived in Elida recently when she accompanied the remains of
her husband, C.B. Erwin, who died on October 16. He was buried in the family plot of the Elida cemetery.

She is also visiting with her sisters, Mrs. Lucille Gibson, Mrs. Evelyn Cater and Mrs. Kathryn Newman.
Graveyard services were held November 22 at the Elida cemetery with Rev. Andy Husted conducting the services.

C.B. Erwin was born Dec 9, 1910 in Mangun(m), Okla. He lived in Elida prior to his marriage to Eloise McCabe on Nov. 22, 1930. They resided in Houston for some time before moving to San Diego where he lived until death. He worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Eloise; one daughter, Charlie Mae Allen of Newport Beach, Calif.; two sisters and one brother, Cecil Erwin, Oklahoma City; Virginia Galloway, Ucspia, Calif.(Yucaipa?); and Charlie Mae Hall of Oklahoma City. There are three grandchildren.
