Obituary for Mr. Henry N. "Blinker" FowlerHenry N. "Blinker" Fowler, 89, of D'Iberville, MS died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in D'Iberville.

Henry was a longtime resident of Biloxi and he was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served as Radar Man on the USS Ammen from 1942–1946.He also worked in Civil Service at KAFB for 36 years. Henry loved his family, going to concerts and good food.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey P. Fowler; his parents, Vincenta S. and George H. Fowler; his brother, Vincent J. Fowler; and his sister Dorothy Kelly.

Survivors include his children, George H. Fowler, II, Terrence F. (Louie) Ehrlich, Joseph R. (Linda) Fowler and Vincent J. (Sharae) Fowler; his sister, Janice (Bill) Harris; his grandchildren, George H. Fowler, III, Colin L. Fowler, Jason B. Fowler, Jessica L. Ehrlich, Taylor Ehrlich, Neil H. Ehrlich, Rae A. Ehrlich, Christopher J. Fowler, Nicholas D. Fowler, Crystal M. Fowler, Vincent J. Fowler, II, Diannah D. Ledezma and Delfin J. Ledezma; ten great-grandchildren; and special niece, Vickie Jordan.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to The American Red Cross Gulf Coast Chapter, 2782 Fernwood Rd., Biloxi, MS 39535 or to the Salvation Army of South MS, 575 Division St., Biloxi, MS 39530.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Ocean Springs Imaging Center Cardiac Rehab Unit for their kindness and care of our father.

Visitation will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Swetman Cemetery on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
