Richard I. "Dick" Schott Age 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Dick, the son of the late Isadore and Clara Schott, was born on April 8, 1924, and raised on a dairy farm in Louisville, Ohio. He graduated from Louisville High School and then joined the Navy. He returned to Louisville after his service and married Rita Mae (Violand) Schott. They were married for 59 years until her death in 2007. Dick retired from Ohio Bell.

Dick is survived by his five children and their spouses: David (Debbie) Schott of Westminster, Colorado; Jim (Linda) Schott of South Euclid, Ohio; Patti (Jeff) Becherer of Canton; Karen (Jim) Riggs of Canal Fulton and Greg (Sharon) Schott of Copley. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A mass of Christian burial will celebrate his life on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church. The Family will receive callers from 9-10:00 a.m. before the Mass in the church. Burial will follow at Calvery Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dick's name to Aultman Hospice (www.aultmanfoundation.org). Those
