Mr. Mott was born Sept. 25, 1891 at Manchester, Ohio. On February 2, 1924 he married Mable Clinch of Elmwood. They have resided on farms north of town since that time,--at the present they are farming the place known to most of our readers as the Win Grant farm.
He was a veteran of World War I and an active member of the Elmwood American Legion Post.
Surviving are the widow, and two children Earl and Mary Louise, both at home; four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Clark Memorial Home in Elmwood with the Reverend T. C. Hargreaves, pastor of the Union Church in Brimfield, officiating. Burial was in the Elmwood cemetery.
