Alfred Eugene Bedell

Alfred Eugene Bedell, 69, of Route 2, Bonnerdale, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 11, 1992, at St. Joseph Hospital in Hot Springs, Ark.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Bedell was born Jan. 6, 1923, at Whittier, the son of George and Viola Hamilton Bedell. He married Helena Marie McNew, a former Fairfield resident. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, having served in World War II. He had lived in Arkansas for 12 years.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Larry; a daughter, Linda L. Dwyer of Sparta, Wis.; two stepdaughters, Jane Wickliff of Newton, Wanda Hamer of Payson, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Louella Kirchoff of Glenwood, Ark., Ruth Rainey of the state of New Mexico, and Pauline Wells of the state of Ohio. He is the brother-in-law of Thelma McNew, Fairfield.
