Mrs Laura Jane Blanford, 90, widow of D T Blanford died in her home, Owensboro, Rt 2 at 3pm Mon. Born in Hardin Co., Mar 1 1864 Mrs Blanford had resided in Daviess Co for the last 51 years. She was a member o the Breckenridge St Methodist Church
Surving are 2 sons, Calvin of Victory Ct, Russell of Owensboro RR 2, 1 sister Mrs Iva Willyard, Howes Valley, 4 grandchldren, 4 great-grandchildren 2 gr gr grandchildren
Funeral srvs will be held at 2;30pm Wed in the chapel of James Davis Funeral Home with Rev Harvey Woolridge of Dale Indiana,(a nephew of Mrs Blanford) conducting the services. Burial will be in Elmwood Cem.
The body will be removed at noon today from the funeral home to the home of her son, 2686 Victory Court.
