MRS. CARRIE CORN

Mrs. Carrie Corn, 86, of 1521 S. Fifth St., died at 9 p.m. Monday in Dalton Health Center where she had been a patient for 10 months.

Mrs. Corn was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Pine Street United Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late Pleasant and Rachael Mae Fetters Hackworth.

IN 1907 she was united in marriage to Otha Corn, who preceded her in death in 1926.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Faye) Meinfelter and Mrs. John (Lucille) Burke of Ironton; two sons, Orlyn (Sy) Corn of Ironton and Orin (Chappie) Corn of Dayton; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two grandchildren were reared while in Dayton; and one sister, Mrs. Frank (Alma) Hurst of Milton, W. Va.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Brown officiating with burial in Sugar Creek Cemetery...
