Norma LoJean Norman, age 88, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away June 20, 2012 at the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg. Norma was born July 18, 1923 to Claude and Maude (Cole) James in rural Tilden. She attended school in various places including Tilden, Madison and Oakdale. She then attended beauty school in Omaha and later moved to Stromsburg.
On June 14, 1946 she was united in marriage to Leo Charles "Kingfish" Norman. To this union she brought three children. Norma worked at Economy grocery store in the meat department for many years. Her husband Leo passed away January 22, 2004. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks, cooking, knitting and watching game shows on T.V.
Survivors include two children; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leo; one daughter Carol Wagner; two brothers Robert and Nolan; four sisters Donna Clark, Glendeen Canizzo, Joyce Mundy, and Coleen McFall.
Memorials are suggested to the family in lieu of flowers.
