--She attended nursing school at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD.
--Jeanne married Ben DeArmon and moved to Charlotte in 1937. They had 3 children: daughter Celia Patricia and sons Benjamin and John DeArmon. 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
--Occupation: Nurse at Charlotte Memorial Hospital (now CMC) and at Wesley Methodist Home (now Aldersgate).
--After her husband's death, she married George W. Bates.
