Prior J. read law under Judge Weekly, graduated from the Louisville law school in 1879, began practice in 1880, was elected county attorney in 1882, and re-elected in 1886. Charles M. served as deputy county clerk under Davis and Stevens, began practice in the latter part of 1883, was elected city attorney in 1885, and re-elected in 1886. In September, 1886, Prior J. Foree married Miss Sue G. Conn, of Carrollton, Ky.
