Barbara (Kern), age 94, died of Alzheimer's on December 15th, 2012. She graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1940. A long time resident of Leonia NJ, she moved to Park Slope in Brooklyn, NY after she married her husband George in 1948. He predeceased her in 1975. For the last 35 years, Barbara resided in Bogota NJ.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Barbara Sofia and husband Michael, her son George and his wife Louise and their children Catherine and George, and her son Warren and his wife Maureen. Barbara lay at reset in Lakeview Cemetery, Burlington, Vermont. Her children say "Our mother loved flowers!" God Bless her and may she be a peace with our Lord and Savior.
