Louis Andrew Bruso, Sr, 84, of Jamaica, Vermont, passed away Thursday December 13, 2012 at Grace Cottage Hospital, Townshend, Vermont.
He was born in Buffalo, NY February 27, 1928 the son of Louis Joseph Bruso and Rita Evelyn (Arnold) Bruso. He was raised in Clinton, MA and lived there until 1995 before moving to Las Vegas.
Mr. Bruso had worked as a Color Mixer at ITT Suprenault Wire and Cable Mfg. for 39 years. While living in Clinton, Louis also enjoyed delivering weekly Meals on Wheels. In August 2012 he moved to Jamaica, VT to live with his son Roger and son in law Wess Gauthier. Louis loved Country/Western music, bowling, and making puzzles. He was an avid clown and eagle collector. He was also an avid Patriots and Red Sox Fan. Above all else he loved his wrestling.
Louis is survived by his children, Louis, Jr and his wife Wendy of Jamaica, VT, Robert of Ashby, MA, Richard and his wife Mary Ann of Salt Lake City, UT, Roger and his husband Wess Gauthier of Jamaica, VT, Larry and his wife Kathy of North Grafton, MA, William and his wife Kathy of Jefferson, MA, Lois and her husband Jeffrey Kirk of Indiatlantic, FL and Adam and his husband Dana Nuzzolilo of Worcester, MA. He has 26 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Lorraine Theresa (Bruso) Hopfmann.
There will be no services, as per his request. There will be a Memorial Service for Family members at a later date next summer [21 July 2013] where his ashes will be interred with his parents at Saint John's Cemetery, Lancaster, MA
