Larry T. Bowen Kimball Township Larry "Buck" Bowen, 69, of Kimball Township, died Monday, December 17, 2012 after a battle with cancer. He was born March 27, 1943 in Port Huron to the late Lawrence G. and Anna Bowen. He married Charlene McLean on January 5, 1968 in Port Huron. Mr. Bowen was a shipper with Huron Plastics for 37 years, retiring in 2004. He displayed his woodworking at craft shows and was well known for his wood pictures. He loved animals and was a wonderful husband. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; two sisters, Julia (Robert) Murray of California and Betty (Leslie) Payne of Port Huron; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Angela O'Donnell in 1992; and a niece, Kristine Payne in 1963. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 in Mt. Hope Cemetery Chapel. The Reverend Lyle Reynolds will officiate. Memorials may be made to Hillside Wesleyan Church or the Blue Water Area Humane Society. To send condolences, visit pollockrandall.com.
