Ida R. Harrison
Ida R. Harrison, formerly of Emporia, died Friday at the Convalescent Center in Henderson, Nev.
A graveside service will be held at the Patio Garden in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Gordon Bechtel, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will conduct the service at at 10 A.M. Wednesday. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison was a resident of Las Vegas, Nev., for four years, moving there from El Paso, Tex., where she had lived for many years. She worked for the Whitehouse Department Store in El Paso for 25 years before she retried.
The daughter of John and Mary Parker Horton, Ida Ruth Horton was born in Emporia Dec. 22, 1913. Her husband John Harrison, died earlier.
Mrs. Harrison is survived by a son, David Harrison, of Las Vegas, two grandchildren, and tow aunts, Gertrude Atwell of Los Angeles, Calif., and Blanche Pinkerton of Omaha, Neb.
