DEATH OF MRS. HENRY ADAMS

Mrs. Erie Louisa Adams, wife of Henry W. Adams, died at 9:30 Saturday evening at her home six miles southeast of the city after a prolonged illness of dropsical troubles. She was 49 years old and was born in Metcalf County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Pruitt. The deceased was married October 28th, 1874, to Henry W. Adams and to this union was born nine children, the following of whom survive: Herman, Silas, Mrs. Mary Cox, Newton, Lizzie, Joseph and Lena Adams. Mrs. Adams was a faithful member of the Methodist Church and was a good mother, a kind neighbor and lived a consistent Christian life.

The body was buried at ten o'clock this morning at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
