Services for Margaret A. Perry, 69, who died June 16,1980 at Collins Memorial Hospital were held June 18 at Mosher Funeral Home in Melcher.
Interment was in Dallas Cemetery.
Mrs.Perry was born July 16,1910 at Avery, Iowa the daughter of Arthur James Amsbury and Margaret Jane Allison Amsbury. Her family moved to Melcher in 1923 where she spent her youth and received her education in Melcher Public Schools.
She was married to Don M. Perry November 9,1929 at Kirksville, MO. They lived at Orien,IL.until the death of her husband when she moved to Melcher living there for several years before moving to Des Moines where she was employed as a nurse's aid at the convalescent home for children for several years before retiring and moving back to Melcher.
She was a member of the Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Thomas(Pat)Leavengood Jr.and one son, James Perry both of Melcher, two brothers Wilfred Amsbury of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Willis Amsbury of Florida, one sister, Ruth of Orien, IL. 5 grandchildren and one great grandson.
