Jesse Morgan Adams, my great-grandfather, was the son of Jefferson Adams and Frances Ann Chambers Adams. He and my great-grandmother, Laura Ellen Heard, were married February 19, 1888 in Graves County, Kentucky. They had eleven children, including my grandfather, Roy Stanley Adams.

Prior to this marriage he had been married, in about 1883, to Ollie Belle Crick. This marriage apparently ended in divorce. They had one child, Ernest Mabry Adams.

His death certificate lists his birth year as 1864, but the headstone is engraved with 1862.
