Vernetta M. Bellis, 94, of Bath, PA formally of East Stroudsburg passed away Tuesday evening September 18, 2012 at the Alexandria Manor, Bath PA
Born in East Stroudsburg on September 13, 1918 she was a daughter to the late Archer and Marion Siptroth and resided in Monroe County most her life. Vernetta graduated from East Stroudsburg High School and was employed as an adjuster for Ransons Lighter Corporation of East Stroudsburg.
Vernetta was an active member of the First Baptist Church, East Stroudsburg. She enjoyed playing cards especially yahtzee and bingo.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband Edgar Bellis a daughter Janice Frantz and a sister Doris Kishbough
Surviving are a son John Eschenbach and his wife Dottie of Easton; sister Freda Joice of Modoc, SC; 7 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Grave side funeral services will be held on Saturday September 22, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in Stroudsburg Cemetery, Dreher Avenue, Stroudsburg with her pastor Rev. David Cornell officiating.
