Private graveside services will be at the Soulville Cemetery near Boelus. Chaplain Mark Hartley will officiate.
Mrs. Oakley was born Feb. 5, 1920, in Stockham to Raynard and Cecil (Smith) Bird.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Fredrick Oakley.
Survivors of the immediate family include a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Kevin Parr of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry G. and Nadine Oakley of Grand Island and Gary Oakley of Brighton, Colo.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Caletta graduated from high school in Los Angeles in 1936.
She and Ralph Oakley were married on May 20, 1937, in Los Angeles.
Following their marriage, they lived in California, Washington, and Indiana before moving back to Nebraska.
During WWII, she worked as a seamstress for Chrysler. Following the war, she was a farm wife.
After her husband's passing, she owned and operated Oakley Drapery and Upholstery. She also owned and operated Herbs and Things in Grand Island and Brighton, Colo.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and brother, "RB."
