Mrs Melvin Lane of Werley, who departed for Custer Co Neb, three weeks ago to visit her daughter, died while there and her remains were brought to Fennimore yesterday and interred at the White School House. Rev Palmer of the UB church officiating. A memorial services will be held later at Werley. Deceased was 73 years of age and an excellent woman.
