She was born on June 20, 1933, in Big Spring, Texas and married T. Richard Clifton on June 20, 1997 in Lovington, New Mexico.
Mrs. Clifton was a lifetime resident of Big Spring and was the daughter of Edward and Vera Crabtree.
She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 31 years.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter # 67.
Survivors include her husband, T. Richard Clifton of Big Spring; one sister, Fern Mascarella of Tucson, Arizona; one brother, Paul Crabtree of Sonoma, California; a niece, Glenda Empsall of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; and a nephew, Pete Crabtree of Big Spring.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Curtis "Bo" Crabtree.
