Mrs. Martha Susan Fisher, 74 of Terre Haute, Indiana died at the Union Hospital in Terre Haute Monday evening November 24th.
She was born at King Station, Indiana, June 18, 1895, the daughter of Bush and Amanda (Mason) Bilderback. On May 27, 1913, she was married to Noble Vern Fisher, who survives. Also surviving are: two sons; Vern and John J. Fisher both of Mt. Carmel; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Troutman of Anderson, Indiana, Mrs. Martha Ann Bump of Mt. Crmel; Mrs. Sarah Thomas and Mrs. Eloise Reed, both of Terre Haute; one sister, Mrs. Leona Binkley, Huntington Beach, Calif., 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters Mrs. Mary Rosignol and Betty Lou Fisher; a brother Ralph, a sister, Mrs. Ada Axton, and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Church of God in Terre Haute, Ind.
Funeral services will be held from the Roy D. Short Co. Memorial Chapel Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
